Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. In 2005, Cyrus was cast as the main character for Hannah Montana, a Disney series Hannah Montana (2006), which follows a teenager who lives an alternate life of a pop star. In this instance, Cyrus' dad also appeared as the character. The show was a smash and hits records tour sell-outs and merchandise deals came. Cyrus quickly became a star for young people.
