Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress popular for her part as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Her role was reprised by her on Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). She is also known for her roles in the movies Porky's and Porky's in 1980 and her roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO TV show Sex & the City is the most memorable. A noted actress Cattrall's portrayal as Samantha Jones has been a significant event in her career. The sitcom did not just increase her popularity amongst the national viewers, but also helped make her an international star giving an immense amount of recognition and fame.
