Andrew Garfield was able to become famous because of his talent. His family is not close to entertainment, which means there was no support for his success. The onus was upon the actor for himself to lift him from where he is today.
His initial goal was to develop into a professional actor. Following school, the teen entered drama school in London, where he received training and the skills of acting were developed. Garfield began his professional career as acting in theaters and won the Evening Standard's Award for his performances.
His most well-known movies comprise "The Social Network" in which he portrayed Eduardo Saverin as Mark Zuckerberg's closest friend (Jesse Eisenderg). He was also in movies including "Never Let Me go", 99 Homes, etc. But, probably, Garfield's most well-known work was the title role in "The Amazing Spider-Man". Garfield stated that Spider-Man has always been a hero he's loved since his childhood. Garfield wore Spider-Mans' suit at Halloween.
Andy was a student in The Banstead Priory School. Andy then attended the City of London Freemen's School. Following that, Andy pursued his studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
